Rae: Halloween, dance parties, and other shin-digs

Hey guess what! Kay won the Snow-Bet.  It only snowed on that day, and it hasn't snowed since!  Incredible.
Also, Halloween was a party and a half!  There were tons of fun costumes, including Kay's cupid, my Hawaiian, and Tay's being a pumpkin.  Haha.  My favorite costume was one in Kay and my's AP Art class.  Some dude dressed up as a frenchie and brought an accordion  which he actually knows how to play! And he did play for us! That's one more thing checked off my bucket list.  My other favorite costume was also in that class, where some guy dressed up as a Pinata.  Now we have one more friend :)
Oh, and we did go trick or treating.  And yes, we are too old.  My favorite part was when we went to a house, the owner said "how are you guys?" and Tay replied "I'm a pumpkin!" because she  heard the question wrong.  I fell on the grass because I was laughing so hard :-)  (awkward smiley face)
A couple weeks ago we had our first dance party, which you can see who participated in the above picture. We also had one last Friday, but both times we've only had the tiny speakers of a phone to dance off of.  So tomorrow we're officially having a dance party during lunch, complete with boom box.  So feel free to come! Its gonna be a blast!
Have a great day and peaskies (pronounced peace-keys) !

Kay: Rae Noticed!

Yes indeed! Rae found it yesterday. She beat Tay to it :) Guess what? I'm gonna be cupid for Halloween and go around shooting people with an arrow. Its going to be great! Rae hates Halloween but Tay and I are going to convince her to come trick or treating with us. We aren't too old for that are we?
The three of us made a bet on what was going to be the first day of snow, I said oct 27, Tay said Halloween  and Rae said nov 3. Its coming up! I say winner has to buy us ice cream because right now it looks like I'm going to lose. :)
Peacekeys!

Rae: lol i'm drowing

Have you ever noticed that the letters lol look like a man that is drowning? Or maybe a party-er, I'm not too sure.  Um, I'm supposed to be finishing my AP U.S. history homework, otherwise I would take the time to actually take the time to post something.  Its kinda silly that i stumbled upon Kay's not-so-recent posts, but blogs (and everything else) have been blocked on this computer until very recently, so I could not have had the opportunity to check before. Sorry, folks. And yes, I am a folk.  So I might post again sometime soon, but seeing as Friday is the end of the term I probably won't post for at least a week.  And I wont sleep for at least a week.  Excuse me while I go die.
Love Always,
Rae
And P.S, peaceskies is totally my saying!

Kay: :)

Rae: He still hasn't gotten your number yet?
Kay: No, he's really bad with numbers, he shouldn't be a mathematician. :)

Kay:They make me laugh

Okay Tay and Rae are officially hilarious! In case you didn't know, Tay, under hilarious circumstances, is going to Sadies with someone she doesn't know and I for one am very excited to hear how that will turn out. Yesterday Rae chose her most powerful weapon, the ukulele, and we headed off to walmart to pick a fight with a couple of toothbrushes. Instead we got scared to death by  our friends and ended up dancing around walmart pretending to play our broom guitars while Rae played her ukulele. Now that is how you have fun.
P.S. everything Tay says should be put into a song. "Rae never surprises me anymore." :)  (I can't believe she STILL surprises me.)
Happy Friday! Peacekeys! Go wear a hawaiian shirt.

Kay:Teacher's gotta Teach

HEEEY!  Rae and I have this crazy AP US History teacher and he can't go a day without talking about birth. Okay, Maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration, but he relates it back to everything. Like yesterday when we were talking about the Quartering Act in the Colonial Era and he had to specify several times that people who kept soldiers in their homes did not end up with more people in their household after the soldiers left than when they started!  It's pretty crazy, we should start counting how many times he brings it up. My sister had him four years ago and she said that was all he talked about then too.
Speaking of crazy teachers, my math teacher openly confessed on the first day to be obsessed with cats and has pictures of her cats in Halloween costumes all over her classroom. But the thing that is absolutely mind-boggling to me is that she is unmarried! It's cray cray. :)
Happy Thursday! Countdown till my birthday:8 days and I can't wait. I'll be the big one-seven!!! Well that's all for today folks Peacekeys!

Kay:Oh Sweet Irony

No school today!! And I went and bought Rae's favorite food, Kneaders pumpkin bread. It's quite delicious. And it is also quite in season at the moment. Right now in AP Art we are doing portfolios and I had been working on mine all weekend 24/7 and my mom got mad at me for not doing my other homework.  And then she wonders why I do my art homework locked up in my room. Oh sweet irony. Anyways I'll have to post a picture of it, it's almost as spiffy as Rae's portfolio. got to go! Peacekeys :)

Kay:Peacekeys

This is the picture I wanted to show yall :) (left to right)It is sad that I am already going through these stages and school has only been going for two weeks.
Ok, right this very second go look up my new favorite band called  Hellogoodbye. And my new favorite song is Rocketship by Shane Harper. They are super spiffy. I just want to give a shout out to my bestest friends Rae and Tay, "You've got this you've got this." Today Rae and I went to Tay's volleyball game and brought a sign that said Taylor Hudson's got SWAG. We kind of stole the idea from her awesome bro. because it's totally true and we can't wait to party at games all the way up to the Championship!!! gtg peaceskeys

Kay: The armpit of life, week one

Hello everyone and welcome back to day two of See How Long it Takes Rae and Tay to Notice that I am Posting!! Well, I've got good news and bad news, the good news is that we survived the first week of school. The bad news is we survived the first week of school which means that there are plenty more to come. Despite previous attempts to thwart the teachers, they still have yet to run out of means to torture us. Yes friends, that is what it is like in the life of an everyday high schooler, the armpit of life. Oh and by the way, we need to find a way to cure the overwhelming disease that is sweeping across the sophomores, they seem to have found a way to multiply and shrink. This year in our high school those puny softies outnumber both the juniors and seniors combined. We are infested and I encourage you all to take urgent care that you too don't catch the disease. It's [not] enough to make kings and vagabonds believe the very best. I used to think that said "to leave their very bed." I drew a picture for yall but my scanner is currently having a spaz attack. so sorry about that.
Well ta ta for now! I'm off to go finish my AP US History homework, or die. It's almost the same thing. One chapter with thirty seven pages has taken me four hours to read!

Thursday, August 16, 2012

Hey everybody, lets play a game! It's called see how long it takes for Rae and Tay to notice that I have picked up the blog again! This should get interesting. Well, us everyday high schoolers have officially survived one entire year of high school, from the crazy teachers to the kids making out in the hallway, we made it out with only a few scratches. I feel like I've hardly blinked and now school is just around the corner and less than a week away. Are you ready to face the beast we call our Junior year? And here is a list of things you might need to pack before you face it.
1. silly putty
2. small squirt gun
3. doodle paper
4. hacky sack
5. ear plugs
6. glasses with fake eyes so that you can sleep
7. spit wads
8. whoopy cushion
9. tanning lotion disguised as normal lotion
10. knock knock jokes
11. memorize your parent's signature
well, I'm out of ideas :) School's going to be great. Lets go party!!

Kay: What's the number for 911?

Well hello there! Happy Spring Break!!! It's the first day we have off of school and guess what i've been doing? Cleaning the house and watering the yard. Wow tots lame sauce. Let's hope it only goes up from there. got my roller skates out today. Yippeee!!
This is Rebecca's favorite picture. If you do not laugh at it it means you have absolutely no sense of humor and i suggest you go break 50 social norms right this second. if that doesn't work call 911, you need serious help.

kay :)

So the other day i do believe that i had the most embarrassing moment of my life. Well, maybe that's exaggerating a little. Tay Rae and i were standing in the lunch line, and a guy i used to have a crush on walked passed right as i threw up my hands. I almost spilled his entire lunch! Yep. true story.

Rae: Dumb bum (end of term)

I just felt like titling it like that. I don't know why. Je ne sais pas pourquoi.
So, guess what? 10 quick thoughts. . .
(1) I have several finals everyday this week. Arg.
(2) Also, I lost my works cited page, so I won't be getting a 4.0. Just a 3.9 something.
(3) I wish that I was Jessie's girl. . .
(4) Who has piano playing tests in choir? Just because I love singing doesn't mean I should be required to play the piano. That's just uncalled for.
(5) I hate when the large pixi sticks build up at the end so you can't eat them because it won't pour out.  Unless you put it up to your eye to see what the problem is and it spills on it. Of course it will then... arg.
(6) Kay gave her uke to someone to hold, and apparently they left it somewhere. Then it was passed around to people all around the school until this one girl took it home. Scary, huh? (Kay: "Pass the uke. , . She doesn't want that one!")
(6) If you play the uke, it gives you great oppertunities.  Like meeting new people, playing for everyone in your physics class, and getting random compliements on how cute your guitar is.
(7) Tay gets a baby for her child development class. Have fun Tay! Haha, it wakes up every 40 minutes during the night.
(8) I wore white pants today and we drew with charcoal in art class. Let's just say they aren't white anymore.
Frowney face.
(9) The best song ever is We Are Young by Fun. It's great. But don't try singing it in your art class, because someone might shove you into a box and burn you so that people can draw your skeleton in that position (apparently how the one we're drawing got there, says  some dude)
(10) I bet you didn't notice that there were two number 6s. So now you're going to go check.

Rae: Pretty Princess with her Knight

Err, I don't really have a story. I just wanted to post this picture I drew. That's why this post has such a lame title.  This picture... I drew it for a coloring book for my school. Go Knights! Anyway, if you ever feel the urge, you may print this out and color it. Then hang it up for all to see. Actually, I kinda want to color it right now. Maybe then I'll post a colored version! We'll see. In due time, we'll see....

I colored it!! Your turn :)

Rae and Kay:a pencil in my mouth

lol.
Did you know that there is such thing as a eiffel tower cheese grater? Yes Rae was amazed. I wish i could invent that. We had to draw 10 stinkin feet for art. it was gross. Rae told me to write about her so here goes.  She loves pudding plus she can sing bass (now that's what i call talent) she also says feet are gross, who doesn't? her 16 birthday is in a month and she speaks french. and yet she can't say burry,i am, or twelfth. Also, she is a computer genious.
Plus, i am taking AP history (WITH KAY AND TAY!) and AP Physics, Honors English, Honors PreCalc. Plus Honors Art. And sculpting!!! Bum. i do personally believe that i have cute toes.
Rae has a pencil in her mouth and that's why this is called A PENCIL IN MY MOUTH. true story

Rae: Healthy llama

TayKayRae:
Tay, "do the semicolon, or whatever it's called."
Kay:so today, our everyday high schoolers had an amazing adventure. yes sir ree. it involved an intense basketball game and $13.43 and 2 famous people. "I like ten dollars. FACT." if you haven't seen kid history number 6 then go watch it right this second because two people off of that were at the basketball game and we almost died!!

niraogdja that was my forhead hitting the keyboard.

My turn! Me, Rae, I, play the ukulele. And I played with Kay in the hallway and earned lots of dollars and coupons and even a ten dollar monopoly thingy.  Also, Tay's mind just got blown.  She rocks in every possible way.  PLUS, we are going to start a club!! :P  I am so exccccccited. Bahaha. A ukulele club. K bye.

LATER: Umm, yeah. The club didn't exactly work.  Apparently, one can only start a club once a year. BLEK. How many days in a year? -Story of a girl. That is playing in my ear right now.
Guess what? The best song ever is Count on Me by Bruno Mars, as I just learned it on the uke.  Also, the best food ever is brigadeiro.
I got a 4.0!! Happy day :P
I got to go do homework now. That is my life.

The end.

Kay: oh what an adventure

Today was quite an exciting icy adventure. My friend Nic and I went sledding. But it was sledding times 10 because we went on an icy, slick trail that was right next to a cliff. . . plus we hit a few trees and most likely won't be able to walk tomorrow because of bruises on our tailbones. ouch. but it was so fun because when you sled on ice you go so much faster and it's impossible to stop or turn. "AHHHHHHHHHH!" yep that's what we did the entire time.
My next adventure was driving my car. Scary right? I didn't think so. Let me tell you the whole story and then you'll be scared.  My parents left and so i decided to drive to a party all by myself (I've only had my licence for a week) and i'd never driven my beater car before. It was terrifying. No airbags, no heat, no music, and my seat wouldn't slide up so i could barely touch the pedals!! Oh, and the gear shift doesn't light up so I had to shine my phone light on it to see what gear i was in. Plus, as if that wasn't bad enough I spent five minutes trying to find the light switch in the dark and it turns out i went to the wrong place for the party, so i went home
would you believe it if i told you that i love my car? well i do. Through all of it's kinks. . . did i spell that right? i don't know
Anytime there's an awkward silence between you and another person, turn to them and say, "Oh hey I didn't see you there" it helps :)=
(my smiley face has a goatee. actually it looks kind of like a vampire. why are people so obsessed with vampires lately? they scare me.)
this blog post is practically a novel. It's so stinkin long!! that's totes cray cray. Yes, i went there. K, bye

Tay: heyyyyyyy

Once upon a time I was watching a show called once upon a time and Hansel and Gretal had to go to the blind witches house and get a satchel with an apple in it and they did and then the evil witch wouldn't help them find their dad and it was sad but then they found their dad so it was good:)

Rae: Uke at school :)

I brought my uke to school on Friday, and I sat in the hallway with my friends and played to the people passing by.  Ha, it was way fun! I should have brought a hat for tips or something :)
Then, Bradley came and we went to the hallway intersection and he juggled while I played.  We got a huge crowd, haha.
Sorry you weren't there, Kay.  You should bring yours on Tuesday.
P.S. I still need to name my uke.
P.S.S.  Ahaha! I've been waiting all day for this! My teacher finally put my grade for one of my assignments in the computer, and I now have a 4.0!! There's a first time for everything :P

kay: practically illegal

yes, posting on our blog twice in a row is practically illegal. so i feel like such a rebel right now, breaking the law, with everyone watching. . .
Bo and hazen are my cousins. bo is 8 and hazen is 5. my brother had just gotten married and us three cousins were having a deep conversation about it:
bo: kissing is so gross.
kay: you should tell that to my brother
bo:you tell him!
kay: no!
at this point i was feeling very intellectual fighting like a fork
hazen: when you kiss someone bo, i'm going to tell you that it's gross
kay:hahahahahahahahaha ha ah ha

Kay: can you believe it

yes i am officially in love.
i know this might seem sudden,
and a little crazy,
but that is what love is,

his name is ukulele :)
surprising?
a little.
well here's a conversation Rae and i had about him, p.s. chucking is a type of strumming
kay: just keep chucking (trucking)
rae: i sea what you did there.
kay: i'm shore you did

yesh. that was one epic conversation. still need to post a pict of my lover online. Some say i'm boy crazy. I'm not, i just really like my uke!!!

Rae: Thats totes cray cray.

But not really. Because I would never in real life say that. For those of you who do not know, "totes cray cray" is an abbreviation that means "totally crazy!" My schoolmates have just picked it up, and it is officially driving me insane.

Also, I am so happy! Because my grades are: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA's!! I still have term finals next week, but that's okay!  I am practically crying for joy... or crying for onions. My mom is chopping onions up, so I am a little teary eyed, I must confess.
This will be me, once I receive my report card.

Try not to be too jealous.
