Today was quite an exciting icy adventure. My friend Nic and I went sledding. But it was sledding times 10 because we went on an icy, slick trail that was right next to a cliff. . . plus we hit a few trees and most likely won't be able to walk tomorrow because of bruises on our tailbones. ouch. but it was so fun because when you sled on ice you go so much faster and it's impossible to stop or turn. "AHHHHHHHHHH!" yep that's what we did the entire time.
My next adventure was driving my car. Scary right? I didn't think so. Let me tell you the whole story and then you'll be scared. My parents left and so i decided to drive to a party all by myself (I've only had my licence for a week) and i'd never driven my beater car before. It was terrifying. No airbags, no heat, no music, and my seat wouldn't slide up so i could barely touch the pedals!! Oh, and the gear shift doesn't light up so I had to shine my phone light on it to see what gear i was in. Plus, as if that wasn't bad enough I spent five minutes trying to find the light switch in the dark and it turns out i went to the wrong place for the party, so i went home
would you believe it if i told you that i love my car? well i do. Through all of it's kinks. . . did i spell that right? i don't know
Anytime there's an awkward silence between you and another person, turn to them and say, "Oh hey I didn't see you there" it helps :)=
(my smiley face has a goatee. actually it looks kind of like a vampire. why are people so obsessed with vampires lately? they scare me.)
this blog post is practically a novel. It's so stinkin long!! that's totes cray cray. Yes, i went there. K, bye
